Bonnik Hansen Foundation
International Projects
Without education children hardly have any future nor do they have the chance to provide for themselves or their families. On the principle 'Helping others to help themselves' the Bonnik Hansen Foundation supports the building of schools in under-developed countries.
Five schools have so far been built in Nepal.
In Kenia the foundation aided the complete renovation of a school in Eburro installing new wiring and a water tank.
In the year 2007 two schools were built in Vietnam, four more followed between 2008 and 2010. In the spring of 2011 work will start on the next school building.
All projects have been chosen with special care. There is always a project leader on site. Appraisal and supervision of the individual projects are carried out by the management committee. This guarantees that the money flows only where it is needed.
