Rough and robust: Sisal and jute as ideal scratching surfaces
All our cat tree models have various scratching surfaces made of sisal or jute. Sisal and jute are particularly suitable for claw care, as these materials are sufficiently rough to remove the worn down layers of claws. They love to sharpen their claws on suitable surfaces. It is also important to groom their claws so that they can shed the worn-down sheaths of the claws, exposing the constantly regrowing claws.
