Variety of scratching posts for cats

Cats are inquisitive and always looking for something to do. Our scratching posts come in a variety of designs to suit the individual needs of each cat. Cats also like to climb to higher areas to rest and keep a lookout. From platforms, cats instinctively observe their territory and thus always keep an overview of their surroundings. Climbing is also fun for them and provides exercise and variety. At the same time, cats also like to retreat to suitable hiding places to rest, groom and sleep in peace. Scratching, climbing as well as resting are thus essential components of a healthy and balanced cat life.

Rough and robust: Sisal and jute as ideal scratching surfaces

All our cat tree models have various scratching surfaces made of sisal or jute. Sisal and jute are particularly suitable for claw care, as these materials are sufficiently rough to remove the worn down layers of claws. They love to sharpen their claws on suitable surfaces. It is also important to groom their claws so that they can shed the worn-down sheaths of the claws, exposing the constantly regrowing claws. In addition, this robust fibre is perfect for climbing, as the cat has a very good grip with her claws. Heavily worn scratching surfaces should be renewed – e.g. with our sisal or jute rope.

Which type of scratching post is suitable for my cat?

Our scratching posts are characterised by their variety of retreat and resting places in the form of caves, platforms, hammocks, caves and cuddly bags – these are always covered with soft plush to offer your cat the most comfortable and cosy place to relax. Older and physically impaired cats have special needs. They often have difficulty climbing and are not very mobile. However, they still like to climb, scratch and rest on higher levels, so we offer cat trees for easy climbing up and down. Your senior cat can rest comfortably on the specially padded platforms.
