Fresh Perspectives – TRIXIE In-House Trade Fair 2017

The motto of our in-house trade fair in Tarp that took place from 9 - 11 June 2017 was “ New Views - Fresh Perspectives”.

On Thursday, 20 international sales partners and their 250 customers from 19 different countries arrived to visited our company headquarters. From Friday to Sunday, the TRIXIE team welcomed guests from Germany and the direct sales countries France, the UK and for the first time Belgium and the Netherlands.

This year the new display area had been significantly expanded by the development of one of the warehouses and by including the new show room. On 1,200 m2, new as well as tried and tested products for a multitude of topics were displayed effectively.
Customers had the opportunity to get detailed information on special items, series or projects or those that needed extra explanations. For this, not only TRIXIE employees were available, but also the co-exhibitors flexi, Interquell, Amora, Insect Shield®, Boneguard® and My Shop Radio. A monitor project presented the topic "Moving Images at the Point of Sale". The unique Insect Shield® technology was introduced, which locks the insect protection firmly into the product. And those who know the problem of swallowed chewing bones, found a handy solution to prevent this in Boneguard®.

There were a lot of registrations for the workshops offered. And those who felt a desire for movement after so much input could admire dogs and their handlers doing Agility and Obedience in the outdoor area – and learn something on top of that.

The excursions by ship on the Flensburg Fjord, a visit to the Flensburg Brewery and a home match of the handball team SG Flensburg Handewitt offered short breaks and a bit of pure holiday feeling.

Warehouse logistics, photo shoots with dogs, a varied children's programme, Shaun the Sheep as a walk act, culinary delicacies and live music rounded off the programme.

"It is really impressive that customers come from as far as the south of Germany and other European countries to visit us in Tarp", company director Volker Haak enthused. "Here we have time for interesting and productive conversations in a pleasant atmosphere, and that is simply good fun."

The feedback from the more than 1,300 national and international guests was positive throughout, and many customers expressed this in greetings on the pin board, emails and phone calls. "And this," says Volker Haak, "is always a pleasing acknowledgement showing us that we are on the right track."
