We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small pieces of textual information that are stored on your terminal via your browser. Cookies are needed for certain functions on our website.

In doing this, we use session cookies that are automatically deleted by your browser directly after the end of your visit to our website.

We also use so-called persistent cookies in the area of web analysis. These are not automatically deleted after the end of your visit to our website.

You have the option of stopping cookies being placed on your computer by using the corresponding settings in your browser. However, we point out that the use of our website might be restricted in that case. Cookies do not install or start any programmes or other applications on your computer.

This use of cookies is based on a balance of interests. Our interest is making your visit to our website user-friendly.

Web Analysis
We use the web analysis tool “Google Analytics” on this website. The purpose is a “needs-based design” of the website carried out on the basis of a balance of interests. In addition, the web analysis allows us to find and rectify errors on the website, e.g. incorrect links. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow us to analyse how you use our website. In this process, so-called “client IDs” are used that serve to set up pseudonymous user profiles that record all visits to the website by one user, with desktop computer as well as with mobile devices.

In general, the information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As we have activated the so-called IP anonymisation on this website and entered into a contract for anonymised data processing with Google, your IP address is shortened before being transferred within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. It is only as an exception that the full IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google is certified according to the so-called “Privacy Shield” (list entry) and guarantees an appropriate level of data protection.

Please find more information on the terms and conditions of use of Google Analytics and information on data protection at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Web Fonts
We use so-called Google web fonts on our website. This means we download fonts from Google’s servers intended to improve the website design. The data processing is done on the basis of a balance of interests. Our interest is an attractive website design.

The fonts concerned are downloaded from Google servers that are normally located in the USA. Google guarantees an appropriate level of data protection (list entry “Privacy Shield”).

The use of Google Maps is carried out in the interest of an attractive display of our online offers and to make the places named on our website easy to find. This constitutes a legitimate interest in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO (German version of GDPR).

When you open the map, e.g. data of your device and usage is sent to servers outside the EU for analysis purposes. In this Google guarantees an appropriate level of data protection (list entry “Privacy Shield”).

Google reCAPTCHA
For forms, the service reCAPTCHA by Google Inc. is used on the basis of a balance of interests. This service is used in the interest of data security in transmitting forms as it differentiates between entries made by natural persons and improper ones generated by machine-generated or automated processing.

The data needed for this service are processed by Google servers that are usually located outside the EU. Google guarantees an appropriate level of data protection (list entry “Privacy Shield”).

Determining the Geolocation/Language
We use a service from ipapi.com to determine the geolocation/language via the IP. This is based on a balance of interests that helps us to correctly display country-specific price recommendations.

The company providing the service is based in Austria and is subject to the EU-GDPR.

TLS Encoding of Emails
Emails are encoded with the help of the service for transmission provided by Office 365 by Microsoft Corporation. We use this service on the basis of a balance of interests as we want to protect the email exchanges with our customers from unauthorized third parties.

The data processing is controlled by Microsoft data processing centres that might be located outside the EU. Microsoft guarantees an appropriate level of data protection (list entry “Privacy Shield”).

Information on Data Processing in connection with Facebook and Instagram
We use our Facebook fanpage and our Instagram account to provide information about us and our products. And, of course, we want to get into contact with Facebook and Instagram users and communicate with them.

Technically, Facebook does the data processing. In so far, we refer to Facebook’s data protection page Facebook Data Policy.

According to ECJ Law, in certain circumstances there can be a joint responsibility for Facebook and us for parts of the Facebook fanpage. This processing is then carried out on the basis of an agreement on joint processing that can be found here.

In the case of requests outside of an active customer relationship, we process the data for purposes of sales and promotion. You can object to our use of personal data for promotional purposes at any time.

Optional Data

In so far as you give us optional data, e.g. in forms, and this data is not necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations, we process this data assuming that processing and using this data is in your interest.

Receivers / Passing on Data

Data that you provide us with is never passed on to third parties. In particular, your data is not passed on to third parties for promotional purposes.

If necessary, we appoint service providers for operating our website or for other products or services we provide. In this case, it can happen that a service provider gains access to personal data. We take great care to choose our service providers – in particular concerning data protection and data security – and take all necessary measures relating to data protection law for legitimate data processing.
