Data Protection

We would like to inform you as visitors to our Internet pages about the purpose, type and amount of the personal data we collect, process and use on our website.

When you use our Internet pages, data are collected, processed and used; and we cannot always exclude a personal connection.

For your browser to be able to display the web pages, the IP address needs to be collected. Otherwise the browser in your terminal device (e.g. PC, notebook, smartphone) cannot receive data from this webpage. As a rule, your provider assigns an IP address dynamically. This address usually changes regularly, so that we cannot correlate the address with a person. In the case of static IP addresses, it would in individual cases theoretically be possible to correlate the address with a person. We store the complete IP address for a maximum of 7 days.

In the log file of the web server we use, further information concerning the data retrieval beside the IP address is stored. This could be the:

- operating system of the requesting computer
- browser version of the requesting computer
- name of the accessed file
- date and time of the access
- amount of data transferred
- referring URL

The collected data are stored and used exclusively for statistical purposes and for error correction. As a rule, we cannot correlate these data with a person.

Web Analysis & Cookies
For the needs-based design of our website, we use the web analytics tool Google Analytics by Google Inc. ("Google“).  Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information produced by cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address) are transferred to a server in the USA and stored there. For this we use the so-called "anonymizeIp()" script that ensures that your IP address is promptly anonymized by Google (after a geo location has been carried out).

Google will use this information to analyze your use of the website, to create reports on website activity for the website owners and to offer further services connected to the use of the website and the Internet. These reports may contain demographic characteristics. If needed, Google will also transfer these data to third parties in case this is required by law and in the case of third parties processing these data on behalf of Google.

Google will under no circumstances correlate your IP address with other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by activating the appropriate option in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that you might not be able to use all functions of a website to their full extent if this is the case. In addition to that, Google offers so-called deactivation tools for some Internet browsers that can stop the recording and analyzing of your user behaviour.
