Our Cat's Home is treated with a non-toxic glaze and thus optimally protected against weathering. To maintain this protection, we recommend painting the wood every 1-3 years with a non-toxic wood glaze or paint (water-based, suitable for outdoor use).
The load-bearing capacity of our cat furniture depends on usage, assembly, proper installation, and—for wall-mounted units—the condition of the wall and the mounting method. It is therefore not possible to provide a general specification in kilogrammes. For safe use, we recommend regularly checking the item to ensure it is stable and free of signs of wear and tear.
For larger and heavier cats, we recommend our XXL models, which are built to be particularly sturdy and are better suited for active or strong cats.
