It is also important to groom their claws so that they can shed the worn-down sheaths of the claws, exposing the constantly regrowing claws. In addition, this robust fibre is perfect for climbing, as the cat has a very good grip with her claws. Heavily worn scratching surfaces should be renewed – e.g. with our sisal or jute rope.
