Our dogs love to be out and about, for example, on walks or exploring the garden and surrounding area. When they do this, they spend time in areas that are also populated by ticks, such as the edges of woods, in the taller grass in the garden or even in parks and other green spaces.

It can happen that your furry friend collects one or more ticks there. Once the parasites have taken hold, they can cause inflammations, but also serious diseases such as Lyme disease or early summer meningoencephalitis. If the ticks fall off your four-legged friend before biting her in your home, they can also infect humans. Therefore, every dog owner should make sure that ticks are removed gently and in good time or that an infestation is not allowed to not occur.

But not only ticks can be a nuisance and cause inflammations and diseases, parasites such as fleas, mites, mosquitoes, hair lice & the like can also affect your dog's health. In order to protect your dog and your home as much as possible from a parasite infestation, we offer a range of products that have a repellent effect on parasites.

How can I safely remove ticks from my dog?

If your beloved dog is already plagued by ticks, we offer a wide range of tick tweezers, tick cards and tick pens for their safe removal – with LED light to find ticks even in dark or dense fur, or with loops for extra small ticks.

The handy shape of our tick removers and the fact that they can be easily attached to our clothing are practical features, so that the tick removers are always ready for use even during walks.

How can I prevent fleas and other parasites?

Fleas are another type of parasite that should not be underestimated and can make life difficult for your furry friend. Fleas feed on the dog's blood and can therefore also transmit diseases. They can also infest humans once they have settled in your home.

Prevention is the order of the day – against an infestation of your dog with fleas and ticks, we offer the flea and tick protection Spot-on, our flea and tick protection powder as well as our anti-parasite collar. Depending on the product, these aids keep the annoying parasites away from your four-legged friend for up to 8 weeks.

What do I do if my pet has a flea infestation?

To mechanically remove the parasites from your dog's coat, you can use one of our flea and dust combs. The fine tines make it easy to remove parasites from the dog's hair and at the same time perform a diagnosis to identify the parasite species.

It is also important in the case of a parasite infestation that the surrounding area is treated as well so that the parasites do not also settle in furniture or carpet.

Our surroundings sprays and foggers enable you to effectively control parasites such as fleas, flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, mites, moths and hair lice. The effect is immediate and lasts over a longer period of time. Especially in the case of fleas, their developmentalcycle is interrupted and the reproduction of the flea population is effectively curbed.
