When should a dog wear a muzzle?

New dog: When you adopt a new dog, her reactions in various situations are unknown to you to start with. At such times, a muzzle can provide additional security combined with a lead.

Breed-related muzzle obligation: In many federal states there is a general obligation to wear a muzzle for so-called listed dogs. However, these regulations can vary depending on the federal state, and not all breeds are always included in the list.
