Variety of scratching posts for cats

Cats are inquisitive and always looking for something to do. Our scratching posts come in a variety of designs to suit the individual needs of each cat. Cats also like to climb to higher areas to rest and keep a lookout. From platforms, cats instinctively observe their territory and thus always keep an overview of their surroundings. Climbing is also fun for them and provides exercise and variety. At the same time, cats also like to retreat to suitable hiding places to rest, groom and sleep in peace. Scratching, climbing as well as resting are thus essential components of a healthy and balanced cat life.

It is especially important for house cat owners to meet these needs. However, outdoor cats also appreciate recreational and occupational opportunities inside the home.

Rough and robust: Sisal and jute as ideal scratching surfaces

All our cat tree models have various scratching surfaces made of sisal or jute. Sisal and jute are particularly suitable for claw care, as these materials are sufficiently rough to remove the worn down layers of claws. They love to sharpen their claws on suitable surfaces. It is also important to groom their claws so that they can shed the worn-down sheaths of the claws, exposing the constantly regrowing claws. In addition, this robust fibre is perfect for climbing, as the cat has a very good grip with her claws. Heavily worn scratching surfaces should be renewed – e.g. with our sisal or jute rope.

Which type of scratching post is suitable for my cat?

Our scratching posts are characterised by their variety of retreat and resting places in the form of caves, platforms, hammocks, caves and cuddly bags – these are always covered with soft plush to offer your cat the most comfortable and cosy place to relax. Kittens in particular have an extensive play instinct and explore their surroundings inquisitively, always looking for the next climbing and playing opportunity. Our junior cat trees and scratching posts specially designed for small cats and kittens are optimally adapted to the needs of your little pussycat. The lower height means your kitten can easily reach every level and let off steam on the scratching posts and with the balls attached.

Robust cat trees for big cats

If you have a particularly large or heavy cat – or perhaps several cats – a suitable cat tree is also important. Our XXL cat trees offer extra space and are taller and wider than our other cat trees. What is special about our extra-large cat trees is that they have several caves or platforms – so your cats can choose a suitable place to rest without getting in each other's way. Comfortable solutions for older and impaired cats

Older and physically impaired cats have special needs. They often have difficulty climbing and are not very mobile. However, they still like to climb, scratch and rest on higher levels, so we offer cat trees for easy climbing up and down. Your senior cat can rest comfortably on the specially padded platforms.
