Cats also like to climb to higher areas to rest and keep a lookout. From platforms, cats instinctively observe their territory and thus always keep an overview of their surroundings. Rough and robust: Sisal and jute as ideal scratching surfaces

All our cat tree models have various scratching surfaces made of sisal or jute. Sisal and jute are particularly suitable for claw care, as these materials are sufficiently rough to remove the worn down layers of claws. They love to sharpen their claws on suitable surfaces. It is also important to groom their claws so that they can shed the worn-down sheaths of the claws, exposing the constantly regrowing claws. In addition, this robust fibre is perfect for climbing, as the cat has a very good grip with her claws. Heavily worn scratching surfaces should be renewed – e.g. with our sisal or jute rope.

Which type of scratching post is suitable for my cat?
