Cats are inquisitive and always looking for something to do. Our scratching posts come in a variety of designs to suit the individual needs of each cat. Rough and robust: Sisal and jute as ideal scratching surfaces

All our cat tree models have various scratching surfaces made of sisal or jute. Sisal and jute are particularly suitable for claw care, as these materials are sufficiently rough to remove the worn down layers of claws. They love to sharpen their claws on suitable surfaces. It is also important to groom their claws so that they can shed the worn-down sheaths of the claws, exposing the constantly regrowing claws. In addition, this robust fibre is perfect for climbing, as the cat has a very good grip with her claws. Heavily worn scratching surfaces should be renewed – e.g. with our sisal or jute rope.

Which type of scratching post is suitable for my cat?

Older and physically impaired cats have special needs. They often have difficulty climbing and are not very mobile.
